Cleaning Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

1.1. Services will be carried out by trained and insured cleaning staff.
1.2. All cleaning will be conducted to a high professional standard; however, we cannot guarantee the removal of permanent stains or damage.
1.3. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible at the agreed time. If entry is not possible, a call-out fee of €25 will be charged.
1.4. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Payments and Cancellations

2.1. Residential Regular Cleaning – Payment is due on the day of service or in advance. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice; otherwise, a €25 fee will be applied to the next clean.
2.2. Deep Cleaning – A 35% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable on the day of service.
2.3. End of Tenancy Cleaning – A 35% non-refundable deposit is required at booking, with the balance payable on the day of service.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1. The client must inform us of any fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items before cleaning begins.
3.2. The client must ensure pets are secured during cleaning. We do not provide animal handling services. 
3.3. The client must provide electricity, hot water, and adequate lighting during the service.
3.4. We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage.

4. Health and Safety

4.1. Staff will not lift or move heavy furniture or appliances weighing more than 20kg.
4.2. Cleaning staff will not climb ladders higher than 2 steps or work at unsafe heights.
4.3. Hazardous substances, including bleach and toxic chemicals, must be stored away before our arrival.
4.4. The property must be free from biohazards such as mould, pest infestations, bodily fluids, or other unsafe conditions.
4.5. Staff reserve the right to refuse service if conditions pose a risk to health and safety.
4.6. We use safe, professional-grade cleaning products; however, clients must inform us in advance of any allergies or sensitivities.

5. Liability

5.1. We hold public liability insurance to cover accidental damage caused during cleaning.
5.2. We are not responsible for damage resulting from faulty or poorly maintained equipment, fixtures, or fittings.
5.3. Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service.

6. Termination

6.1. Either party may terminate a regular cleaning agreement with 7 days’ notice.
6.2. Immediate termination may occur if terms are breached or unsafe working conditions are present.
